We only use the best installation process to ensure your new fence lasts a long time. We set posts at a minimum of 24" in the ground with concrete and screw our rails to the posts, so there is no chance those rails will come off with the winds over time. Use Hot dipped galvanized ring shank nails to attach pickets to rails. 5-6 nails per picket. Our wood is cedar; we will never install inferior cedar or pressure-treated materials.
You should not use pressure-treated material under any circumstance here in Colorado. Contact us, and we can dive more into these products when we come out to give you a free estimate.

Cedar has a longer life expectancy when compared to pine. On average cedar lasts 15-20 years, whereas Pine (also known as Spruce, Douglas Fir, Pressure Treated) has a life expectancy of 3-7 years.
Absolutely! The best way to extend the life of your cedar fence is to have it stained. The specific lifespan extension will depend on the type of stain used, local weather conditions, and the initial condition of the wood.
While painting is an option, it is generally recommended that cedar fences be stained or sealed. Stain allows the wood's natural beauty to show through and provides better protection against the elements.
Fence height regulations vary by location and local zoning codes. Check with your local building permit office as well as your HOA to determine the maximum allowable height for your property.
